1. Go to Settings
2. Select Notification
3. Select Notification Tab
4. Click on Add Notification
5. Set the Notification Type
Select ‘Pending’ under ‘Leave Request’ category
6. Set the Notification Name
7. Set the Applicant Type
You can set the applicant type as “All Employees” if the notification is meant to notify all pending leave request that requested by the employees or you can set the notification only for some employee by select ‘Some Employee’
8. Set the Notification Recipient
You can set the applicant type as “Manager of The Employee’ if the request is meant to be approved by the assigned manager of the employee. You also could set the recipient as ‘Other Employees’ if the request is should be approved by other employee, i.e HR Person in your company.
9. Set How the Notification will be Send
You can set the notification to be send in the website , mobile apps or e-mail. If you set it as website the notification will be appeared in the Pending Leave Request widget in the dashboard or in the upper right corner of the homepage by click on the bell icon. If you set as Mobile apps, the pending leave request will be appeared in your phone, while if you set as email, the pending leave request will be automatically sent to e-mail if there’s a leave request.
This is how the notification will look in each option :
- On the Dashboard
- On the Mobile Phone
- In employee’s email
